Based in Potrero Hill, San Francisco, Blue Orange Games is a successful manufacturer, publisher and distributor of fun board games for all ages. Founded in 2001, the company has now a catalog of 39 games.

Blue Orange uses durable materials, such as wood and quality tin packaging. The company is committed to planting two trees for each one used in game construction.

Blue Orange has launched nine new games in 2012 including sports licensed games and is working on ten new game concepts.

 
 

Regional Sales Coordinator

Blue Orange Games is recruiting 5 full time Regional Sales Coordinators to join our young and dynamic sales team. The duration of this internship is six to nine months.

Job description:

1/ Road Trip & Business Development – 6 Months

  • Visit +/- 300 customers in several states in USA
  • Meet monthly sales goals
  • Train store staff on product knowlege
  • Organize play-days with retail stores
  • Store merchandising
  • Create a database of prospects
  • Aggressively open new accounts
  • Participate industry and consumer trade shows

2/ Sales Representative in the Bay Area – 3 Months

  • Visit customers and organization of local events
  • Participate industry and consumer trade shows
  • Follow up with customers visited on the road by phone calls and emails 
  • Organize and attend in-store promotional activities
  • Complete sales related administrative tasks as requested

Required qualifications:

We are recruiting students in LAST YEAR of business school or RECENT GRADUATE.

  • Bachelor degree
  • Ability to work independently and juggle multiple projects. You will be working by yourself most of the time. You have to be entrepreneur.
  • Strong communication in English and relationship building skills illustrated  Fast learner, adept at understanding toys and games industry trends and customers’ need
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills. You will be managing daily and weekly work schedules during road trips
  • Enthusiastic, high energy
  • Clean driver license
  • Proficient with MS Office applications such as Word, Excel

Additional information:

Compensation: $500 a month + commission (monthly bonus depending on results) + roadtrip compensation
Visa will be reimbursed at the end of your internship by the company
